It’s finally here. The battle for the top spot in the High School Football America Alabama Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football, is this weekend.
Two-time defending 7A champ Thompson will travel to No. 2 Hoover this weekend, in what could be the first of two meetings. The winner captures the region title and it’s highly-likely that these two will meet late in the playoffs.
No. 1 Thompson heads into the showdown after 48-0 win over former No. 9 Oak Mountain. Hoover beat Tuscaloosa County 49-7.
As far as the latest rankings, Spanish Fort re-enters the statewide rankings at No. 10.
