Archbishop Moeller remains solid No. 1 in Ohio Top 10 high school football rankings after beating Elder

Archbishop Moeller is rolling through the 2022 regular season. Last week, the No. 1 Crusaders made it 7-0 and captured the Greater Catholic League South title with a 42-14 win over former No. 7 Elder.

Big Moe will be tested this week by No. 10 St. Ignatius (No. 109 nationally), followed defending Division I champ St. Edward and defending Michigan Division 3 champ Detroit MLK. Both of those teams are ranked nationally — St. Ed is No. 40 and MLK is No. 140.

Moeller is in the national championship conversation. This week, Big Moe is ranked No. 11 in America.

No. 2 Archbishop Hoban continues to climb in the national rankings. The Knights currently sit at No. 23.

Inside the High School Football America Ohio Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football, there are three head-to-head matchups this week.

No. 7 Springfield plays No. 17 Centerville. Right now those two are joined at the top of the Greater Western Ohio Conference football standings by Springboro and Wayne (Huber Heights) with a 3-1 league mark.

In another key GWOC battle No. 12 Wayne (Huber Heights) hosts No. 13 Fairmont.

In the GCL South, No. 10 St. Xavier plays No. 19 Elder.

New to the Top 25 this week is Glenville, which re-enters the statewide rankings at No. 25 this week.
