The Michigan High School Athletic Association is the giving high school football teams in the state playoffs another week to prepare. Before the holidays, the MHSAA said the 11-man quarterfinals and 8-man semis would resume January 2. However, the state’s governing body now says the postseason, which has been on-hold since mid-October due to the coronavirus pandemic, will start on January 9.
