Mill Creek heads into final week of the regular season No. 1 in Georgia Top 25

Barring an upset against Mountain View this weekend, Mill Creek should finish the regular season No. 1 in the High School Football America Georgia Top 25 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

Thomas County Central made a big move in the penultimate ranking. The Yellow Jackets jump nine spots to No. 12 after beating Lee County 31-24 for the Region 1-6A championship.

The Region 4-6A crown will be on the line this week when No. 12 Grayson plays No. 17 Parkview. Heading into the game, those two are tied with Archer with 3-1 records. Archer, coming off a 41-14 loss to Grayson, plays Newton this week.

After being beaten by South Gwinnett 31-28, Newton drops out of the Top 25 after its second straight loss.
