Tate Martell is in Columbus at Ohio State, but the Bishop Gorman win streak continues. Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who takes-over the Gaels’ offense for Martell who never lost as the Gorman QB, led the No. 4 team in the country to a 35-23 win over No. 13 DeMatha (Maryland) on a nationally-televised game from Las Vegas. The win extended the second longest active win streak in the nation to 55 game.
At the start, the streak looked like it was in trouble as DeMatha jumped-out to a 10-0 lead. However, Thompson-Robinson, who has given his verbal commitment to UCLA, put the offense in-gear to give Gorman a 13-10 halftime lead. Thompson-Robinson finished with three passing touchdowns and two rushing.
We said we’d learn a lot about Gorman in first half. They took a punch & they’ve countered Gorman 13 DeMatha 10 after @DoriansTweets TD run pic.twitter.com/JsWzEv6t2y
