Oakland rolls into 6A championship game No. 1 in the state after beating No. 2 Maryville

Oakland remains a solid No. 1 in the High School Football America Tennessee Top 10, powered by NFL Play Football. The Patriots advanced to the 6A championship game by beating No. 2 Maryville 24-14. Next-up for the defending state champs will be the state title game against No. 7 Summit, which won the 5A title in 2020.

The Oakland/Summit game is one of three head-to-head Top 10 matchups for state gold.

In Division II, the AAA championship features No. 4 McCallie against No. 8 Montgomery Bell Academy. McCallie has won two straight state titles.

For the second year in a row, No. 5 Lipscomb Academy will play No. 6 Christ Presbyterian Academy for the AA title. CPA won the crown in 2020.
