For the first time ever, Southfield A&T finishes the season as the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Michigan Top 10 high school football rankings, powered by NFL Play Football. The Warriors won the Division 1 state championship by ending Belleville’s 38-game win streak at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions.
Belleville, which spent the entire season at No. 1, finishes No. 2 in the statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm. The Tigers followed by Davison at No. 3, Division 2 champ Muskegon at No. 4, De La Salle at No. 5, Cass Tech at No. 6, West Bloomfield at No. 7, Rockford at No. 8, Lake Orion at No. 9 and Northville at No. 10.

On the national scene, the top five teams in the state made the HSFA 300, led by Southfield A&T at No. 161.
