As we mentioned last week, defending Class 7A state champ Thompson heads into the postseason with a perfect 10-0 record and the No. 1 ranking in the High School Football America Alabama Top 10 high school football rankings.

As far as this week’s rankings, there are no changes. Defending 6A champ Oxford did pick-up a big win in overtime over No. 6 Central (Phenix City) to strengthen its No. 4 ranking.
