Defending Alabama 7A champ Thompson enters the postseason ranked No. 1 in the High School Football America Alabama Top 10. The Warriors wrapped-up their third straight regional title beating No. 2 Hoover 39-23 on Friday.
The surprise of the weekend came in Enterprise where the the Wildcats upset former No. 4 Auburn 38-27, dropping the Tigers to No. 6. It also knocked Auburn out of our national rankings where they had been No. 77.

In the High School Football America 100, Thompson rose four spots to No. 4. Hoover fell to No. 34 nationally. Hewitt-Trussville and St. Paul’s are also nationally-ranked at No. 53 and No. 112 respectively.
