For the first time in 18 years, Denton Ryan, ranked No. 21 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings powered by BlackMP Living Water, is a Texas high school football champ. Friday night, the Raiders beat No. 48 Cedar Park 59-14 to capture the Texas Class 5A Division I state championship.

Quarterback Seth Henigan, who will play his college football at Memphis and is the son of Ryan head coach Dave Henigan, threw touchdown passes in the victory, which avenged last year’s title game loss to Shadow Creek.
