The 24th annual Dave Campbell’s Texas 7-on-7 State Championships are underway in College Station. 128 teams are in the running for titles in three divisions.
Division I is made-up of 6A, 5A and large private schools. Division II has programs from Class 4A, Class 3A Division I and small private schools. Division III consists of schools in Class 3A Division II and below.
To qualify for the state tournament, teams needed to play in qualifying tournaments held in the spring.

Hebron is back to defend the title it won in 2021. Last year’s Division I champs beat Lake Travis for the title. It was the first time that the Hawks won the state’s 7-on-7 state title.
2021 Division II champ Kaufman is back to defend its title, as Division III champ East Bernard.
