In a rematch of last December’s Class 3A Division II state championship, Gunter beat Tidehaven 20-14 in the Dave Campbell’s Texas 7-on-7 Division III state championship.
The win gives Gunter a great start to the 2024 season. The Tigers will be looking for their third straight tackle title this year.
