Massillon Washington is the new No. 1 in the High School Football America Ohio Top 25. The Tigers, who will play No. 6 La Salle Thursday for the state’s Division II state championship, move-up from No. 3 to No. 1 after former No. 1 Mentor’s 28-21 loss to Pickerington Central in the Division I semifinals.
Pickerington Central, which will play No. 5 Elder for the state’s Division I championship, shoots-up from No. 10 to No. 2. Mentor, which has held the top spot since early September falls to No. 3 in the latest statewide rankings.
Trotwood-Madison moves-up a notch to No. 16 this week. The Rams will play No. 24 Mansfield for the Division III title.
