The top two high school football cornerbacks in the Class of 2024 hail from Florida.
Ellis Robinson IV of IMG Academy is the overall No. 1 CB prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. The Georgia-recruit began his career in New York at Iona Prep before transferring before the start of his junior season.
IMG starts the season ranked No. 5 in the High School Football America 300 national rankings, powered by NFL Play Football.

The No. 2 cornerback is Charles Lester III from Venice High School. On Friday, the 5-star prospect announced that he was staying in-state to play his college football at Florida State.
He told ESPN, “I’ve been there so many times and just being around the people, I got a great feeling for those people there. I trust them and it’s my childhood dream school. … Out of all the places I’ve been, I just get that feeling for that school every time. So just from the people, opportunity and the way they’re going with their program now, that helped me pick my decision.”
This will be Lester’s first year at Venice, ranked No. 39 in the HSFA 300. He transfers to the Indians after playing a crosstown rival Riverview.
