For the second year in a row, Vance is the top team in the High School Football America North Carolina Top 10 that is created with our proprietary algorithm. Earlier this month, the Cougars won their second straight Class 4AA championship.

Defending four-time state champ Charlotte Catholic finishes No. 2 in the statewide rankings, followed by 4A champ Grimsley at No. 3, Hough, the only team to beat Vance, at No. 4 and 3AA champ Mount Tabor at No. 5.
