The latest High School Football America Georgia Top 25 shuffles from No. 3 down through No. 21 after a second round of marquee playoff matchups
At the top, No. 3 North Cobb was shocked 46-43 by Roswell. North Cobb tumbles to No. 6, while Roswell is up two spots to No. 11 in the latest rankings powered by NFL Play Football.
Next-up for Roswell in the Class 7A quarterfinals will be No. 16 Grayson, the defending 7A champ. The Rams are trying to claw their way back to the title game after a 7-3 regular season.
Every 7A quarterfinal this week features a Top 25 head-to-head matchup — No. 1 Collins Hill vs. No. 7 Lowndes, No. 3 Milton vs. No. 8 Mill Creek and No. 12 Brookwood vs. No. 13 Walton.
Defending 5A champ Warner Robins is up a notch to No. 4 after beating previously unbeaten Cartersville 24-17. It was a rematch of the 2020 AAAAA state championship game. Cartersville is down two spots this week to No. 9.
Also in 5A, Calhoun is up seven spots to No. 17 this week after handing Ware County a 49-42 loss, which drops the Gators from No. 12 to No. 18.
No. 14 Woodward Academy’s season came to a surprising end with a 28-13 loss to No. 25 Blessed Trinity, which finished 6-4 during the regular season. Woodward falls to No. 25 this week in our rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm. Blessed Trinity moves-up one spot to No. 24.
