The magical 2021 season for Jesuit High School in Tampa continues. Today, the Tigers close-out 2021 as the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Florida Top 25, powered by NFL Play Football.
Jesuit closed-out a perfect 15-0 season by beating Pine Forest 35-29 for the 6A title. It was the school’s first state football championship since 1968.
In addition to the state’s top ranking, Jesuit finished No. 5 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings. The season included a win over No. 2 St. Thomas Aquinas, which won its third straight 7A state title.

IMG Academy, which held the No. 1 ranking for most of the year, finishes No. 3, followed by three-time champ Miami Central at No. 4 and 3A champ Chaminade-Madonna at No. 5.
8A state champ Venice closes-out 2021 ranked No. 6 in our statewide rankings created with our proprietary algorithm. Two-time 4A champ Cardinal Gibbons is No. 7, followed by Cocoa at No. 8, Apopka at No. 9 and Miami Northwestern at No. 10.
